TOUR DESCRIPTION

The majestic Languedoc region of southern France
- one of the lands of profound mystery on our Mother Earth - is primed to give up her
secrets as humanity rejoices in the prophesied planetary return of the Goddess. For many
thousands of years this region has been a reliquary and bastion for the sacred artifacts
and mysteries of the Goddess
Tradition that have been interred within its terrestrial pentagram. The Priory
of Sion maintains that within the regions gigantic five-pointed symbol of the
Goddess lies another Solomons
Temple, built to scale and then buried. According to other related legends
nearby it are hidden relics that may include the body of Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail itself. Upon
this land the descendants of King David once ruled their great Jewish Kingdom known as Septimania, and it is
here that the Goddess-loving Cathars
and Knights Templar
once observed their ablutions and performed their ancient and heretical
gnostic rites. In its heyday the Languedoc attracted Goddess worshippers from all over
Asia and Europe, who converged upon her sacred soil to celebrate the Mysteries of Alchemy, Gnosis, and the Divine
Feminine.
The Goddess is now calling Her children back to the Languedoc to assist in Her
restoration and to revel once again in Her glorious presence. Join two Knights Templar and
life-long devotees of the Goddess Mysteries, Mark Amaru
Pinkham and Nancy Safford,
as they travel during the pivotal full moon and equinox periods of autumn to
the Goddesss sacred shrines, portals, and holy places of southern France and
northern Spain to assist in the re-activation of Her kingdom and to retrieve some of Her
most ancient wisdom and relics. The secrets that will lay the foundation of 2012 are coming to light now,
in 2010! Be a part of this amazing journey!

Connect with the powerful energies of the mysterious sacred places of

TOUR ITINERARY
(B
= Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)
Day 1. Monday, September 20. Arrive Toulouse, France; to
Rennes-le-Chateau area
Please book
your international airfare to arrive in Toulouse by 11:00AM in order to meet the group for
the transfer at noon.
Meet your Tour Host
and Speaker Mark Pinkham and our group at the airport in Toulouse (details about where to
meet will be provided in your final itinerary.) We depart the airport, stopping enroute
for lunch on your own with the group, followed by a bit of shopping for personal food
items for your dinner on your own this evening.
We arrive at our B and B,
located across from the hilltop mystic village of Rennes-le-Château,
situated in Cathar Country at the foot of the
Pyrenees, in the Aude department within the Languedoc region of southern France. Check in
and take a bit of time to relax. This is the area we'll explore during the next few days -
the exquisite land here, set in the Valley of Colors, next to the River
of Colors. There are many mysteries associated with this special location. Some believe
that an ancient Mystery School was constructed on an old foundation of
the current building. Also, legend says that the Holy Family once lived nearby on the high
banks overlooking the meandering river. The Magdalene energy is very
present here, especially in her nearby Cave. This area is in a five-pointed natural
landscape temple that has been identified as a Venus Temple.
We gather in the later afternoon for a brief Introductory Meeting. Afterwards, enjoy your
snacks and retire early.
Overnight Rennes-le-Château area.
Day 2. Tuesday, September 21. Rennes Le Chateau; Welcome Dinner
(B/D)
After breakfast, we meet for a group sharing, meditation, and setting
of personal intentions. Our overall intention for the group on this journey is to
embrace the Gnostic Path of knowing ones Self fully, an experience that will be
unique for each participant. We will experience the Goddess traditions as we journey into
the sacred places of the Priestess and Black Madonna, as well as explore many places of
the Holy Grail legends, to help you understand and assimilate the traditions of the East
and West here.
We will also note the powerful astrological alignments happening during
our ten-day journey that will enhance these experiences. Mars and Venus will both be in
Scorpio the entire time, giving us an opportunity for deep transformation; it will open up
the male and female relationship - both within and without. Then we will have a
harvest full moon in Aries on the powerful autumn equinox to honor all that
has been abundant in our lives in the balance of light and dark. With both Pluto and
Saturn passing in Capricorn, we are being shown at this time - that the old
structures we having been living within, are falling away; they are showing us that it is
time to create new ones that express our true feelings, that have perhaps been hidden
within us. Venus passing in Taurus and Libra, reminds us of the Goddess and the Earth, and
we complete our journey honoring and surrendering to Love.
Then we will have a
presentation about the Mystery Traditions of the Languedoc and discuss
why it is known to be the homeland of Alchemy.
Afterwards we're off to the famous hilltop village of Rennes Le Chateau,
situated in a strategic location once inhabited by the Romans, Visigoths and Merovingians,
where we will visit the famous Tour Magdala and Church,
both dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Henry Lincoln, RLC researcher, author
of Holy Blood, Holy Grail and other books about this mysterious area will join
our group to share his vast knowledge!

It is this church that Abbe Sauniere was renovating when he mysteriously discovered coded
documents, went to Paris with them and returned with a great amount
of money, (still legend today), with which he built the Tour Magdala and renovated the
church. There has always been a quest for treasure here, (after Saunieres
discovery), both for hidden coins, elusive monies, as well as for the spiritual treasure
of the Holy Grail. Legend says that there is an ancient Temple of Isis hidden deep in the
earth beneath the tiny hilltop village of Rennes Le Chateau, which has also been
identified as one of the points of the natural landscape Temple pentagram. The other
points are visible from here, each one marked with a sacred mountain, including the famous
Templar Castle/Fortress, Bezu, which is one of them.
We take time for lunch on your own with the group at one of the small cafes in
Rennes-le-Chateau. Afterwards, we will be honored to meet with Toby Dobler,
who lives in Rennes Le Chateau, is a Knights Templar in the French
Templar Order (OSMTH) and commander of the Languedoc Commanderie of Mary
Magdalene. How significant to have two Commanders from two Orders of Knights Templar
coming together here!
We will then return to our B&B for our special Welcome Dinner. Overnight
Rennes-le-Château area.
Day 3. Wednesday, September 22. Magdalene Cave (B/D)
After
breakfast we each take time to walk and integrate our experiences so far on these
beautiful grounds; then we will gather to center. Since most of our journey in the Rennes
Le Chateau area, takes place within the landscape temple of the five pointed star, we will
talk about the Pentagram, the Rose and how it relates to the Magdalene,
the Templars, Venus and the Goddess, the sources for
many of these mysteries.
Lunch will be on your own; we can create a picnic to enjoy on the lovely grounds of our B
and B.
Then we walk to a small natural cave, known locally as the Magdalene Cave,
where we'll create a ceremony using the sacred bowl, in celebration of the
Fall Equinox tomorrow.
We return walking to our B and B and enjoy sharing our experiences during our group
dinner.
Overnight Rennes-le-Château area.
Day
4. Thursday, September 23. Fall Equinox! Rennes Les Bains (B/D)
Today is a full day in Rennes Les Bains,
where we'll experience the sacred healing thermal waters. Our journey
begins in a special place of the Priestess, who is guardian and initiator through the
doorway of this sacred Temple, in this place of surrender. With the full moon in Aries, it
may be time to identify and feel your truth, to identify your dream to live - with
courage.

We enjoy a simple lunch on your own at a café in the town. Then we continue on our path
to experience the 5000 year old stone Seat of Isis next to Her holy
spring. Each person will have time for quiet reflection here, with a personal attunement,
as the powerful ley line alignments pass through the seat.
Finally, we visit an ancient alchemical place where the fresh and salt waters come
together, La Blanque (the white waters) and La Salz (the salt waters), symbolizing
the merging of the primordial waters of creation: a place of union. We complete our day
here with a final ceremony for the Fall Equinox, honoring ourselves, our
places of origin and the path we have chosen.
We
enjoy a celebratory dinner to honor our day by the sacred waters of the
Goddess. Then we return to our B and B.
Overnight Rennes-le-Château area.
Day
5. Friday, September 24. Montsegur (B)
After breakfast, spend quiet time on the grounds.
Then we gather to catch up, center and discuss the Cathar beliefs and
practices before we depart for their famous Castle, Montsegur,
sometime referred to as the Grail Castle. This stronghold is where 200 Cathars made their
last stand and were burned rather than renounce their beliefs in exchange for
those of the Catholic church. The night before, however, legend says that four Cathars
escaped down the most dangerous ledge of the Castle with ropes, to safety, with their
sacred treasure. It has never been revealed, even today. People surmise that it was the
Grail Cup, while others feel it was a woman whose womb carried the bloodline of the Holy
Grail.
In the tiny Montsegur church, an ancient Black Madonna sits,
hidden from most peoples sight. It was brought here by the monks of Montserrat 300
years previous to acknowledge and symbolize the connection between the two places - the
initiatory aspects of the Mother Mountains. Some of the rites and initiations
of the Cathars, carried them deep into these grottos/caves, high up in the mountains, to
live for months, days or years.
Time for lunch on your own at the little on-site restaurant. Then we hike up to the Montsegur
Castle, where we notice the unusual shape of the mountain upon which it was
built. What does it mean? What was the legacy of the Cathars that is still pertinent in
our lives today? Take some time to meditate on this and more as you spend time on this
ancient hallowed ground.
We return to our B and B in the later afternoon. After dinner on your own at the B and B,
take time to pack for our early departure tomorrow.
Overnight Rennes-le-Château area.
Day
6. Saturday, September 25. Aigues-Mortes; To
Les Saintes Maries de La Mer (B)
After breakfast we depart for Les Saintes Maries
de La Mer. Our first stop is at the Medieval walled town of Aigues-Mortes
(dead water), once located closer to the Mediterranean before it dried up and became a
marsh. It is an impressive fortification
with an atmosphere of the Middle Ages, with 20 towers and seven gateways or entrances.
This area was once part of land owned by the Counts of Toulouse, before it was annexed by
France to become the departure point of the 7th and 8th Crusade to the Holy Land, led by
King Louis IX. He built the town on an earlier Roman foundations dating to 102 BCE,
because he wanted a Mediterranean port of his own. The Knights Templar
are associated, historically, with this town as well. There is an impressive statue of
King Clovis in the medieval town square.
Enjoy lunch on your own with the group at one of the local little cafes. Then we continue
to Les Saintes Maries de la Mer, arriving mid-afternoon.
Les Saintes Maries de la
Mer is a small fishing village located on the Mediterranean coast, near
Marseilles, where Mary Magdalene is said to have arrived by boat from the
Holy Land. She was with a small party of people and was greeted by the Gypsies. The group
included two other Marys, Joseph of Arimathea, perhaps Lazarus and Sara,
the patron Saint of the Gypsies, also thought to be the daughter of
Magdalene and Jesus.
Les Sainte Maries de la Mer was once an ancient pilgrimage site for the Celts
who came to receive healing from the Goddess who they felt was present in the warm spring
located here, and for the Greeks who once had a Temple dedicated to Aphrodite. This
region, the Camargue, is known as the cowboy country of France, where
hundreds of white horses once ran wild, until the Gypsies settled here and tamed them.
After
checking in at our hotel, we walk to the local 6th century church for our first visit with
Saint Sara, the Black Madonna. After several thousand years of prayers and healings
done in this place, especially during the Gypsy Festival each year to honor the arrival of
Magdalene and Sarah, it is easy to lovingly accept a way of living and being from our
hearts. Individual communication requested from the black Saint Sarah in the crypt can
give endless insight, compassion and wisdom.
Afterwards you have free time to explore the little village. Dinner is on your own
tonight, but why not get together with your fellow pilgrims and share your experiences and
some lively conversation!
Overnight Les Saintes Maries de la Mer.
Day 7. Sunday, September 26. Les Saintes Maries de La Mer (B)
This morning we will discuss
the history and meaning of the Black Madonna, who in all Mystery School
traditions was known to have supernatural powers. Then we go to the water to
ceremonially purify ourselves in the soothing healing waters of the Mediterranean.
This is a wonderful opportunity to release any limitation and blocks to living from the
heart.
Afterwards you have some free time for retail therapy, which includes aromatic products
from Provence for gifts and personal enjoyment. Dinner tonight is on your own again.
Overnight Les Saintes Maries de la Mer.
Day 8. Monday, September 27. To Collioure (B)
After
breakfast we depart on our way to Spain, staying one night enroute to Barcelona or
Montserrat in the beautiful, historic town of Collioure, located on the
coast of the Mediterranean, just north of the Spanish border. It was first settled by the Celtic tribes, then later used as
a port by the Phoenicians, Greeks, and Romans for trading, until the Visigoths took it
over in the 7th century. The town hosts a Royal Palace or Castle, and a
large fortress. Collioure was made famous by and closely associated with the Knights
Templar who passed through on their crusade routes to the Holy Land. They used
the ancient fortress here during the 12th century and there is still, even today, much
mystery about their illusive treasures. Collioure later became the home of the Fauvist
Painter Movement who were intrigued by the rare quality of the light. Among them
were Derain, Braque, Matisse, Picasso.
Our stop here in this peaceful, beautiful town offers us an opportunity to relax and
integrate our powerful journey so far. We explore at leisure, the Royal Palace, church,
cafes and beaches. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight Collioure.
Day 9. Tuesday, September 28. To Montserrat (B)
After
breakfast, we depart for Montserrat, the capital of Catalonia, located just north of
Barcelona, Spain, located high up in the Pyrenees, where we will spend our last two nights. Montserrat
means the place of the jagged rocks, and has always been identified
as a Sleeping Dragon. These famous rocks, amongst which the Basilica, the
Benedictine monastery (founded in the 11th century) and the Holy Grotto
are located, are said to be the most unusual in the entire Catalan region. It was here in
880 CE where a group of shepherd children first saw a bright light coming from a cave high
above them. They also reported hearing angels voices singing. So, when their parents
sought to discover the source, theytoo experienced the same light and angelic voices. A Black
Madonna was discovered inside the Grotto, but was so heavy, She was left in
place. Another was carved, exactly like Her and placed in the Basilica. Today pilgrims
come from all over the world to worship and honor Her. Many visions and miracles
have been reported, during or just after peoples visit here (similar to those of
Saint Sarah in Saintes Marie de la Mer).
Every day a choir of
young boys sings in the church with voices that sound like those of angels. Legend says
that Mary Magdalene did much teaching here with her daughter Sarah-Tamar,
and that the Knights Templar came here, carrying with them one of their
treasures, possibly the Holy Grail Cup or Arc of the Covenant. It is possible that
Magdalene was teaching from The Book of Love, known to be the
true teachings of Jesus, which was possibly the true treasure of the Cathars, their Holy
Grail. Much of Magdalenes teaching was done in caves and in very remote areas, where
she was able to be away from the public eye. It is also possible that the Cathars knew of
these teaching and were living them. They would integrate the knowledge, in the caves, to
then live their Gnosis.
We arrive in Montserrat and check into our accommodations. Dinner on your own. Overnight
Montserrat.
Day 10. Wednesday, September 29. Montserrat; Farewell Dinner (B/D)
Today
we visit both Black Madonnas, the one in the Basilica, as we make our
visit inside, as well as the one high up in the grotto (a tram takes us there). There are
special places where there are little rock chapels with exquisite views of the mountains
that we can visit as we complete our sacred journey together. We will spend our last two
days integrating and assimilating our experiences.
Our Closing Ceremony
will be in a special location up in the rocks, surrounded by the ancient rock people, to
honor each other, the Holy Grail Mysteries (and how a deeper
understanding of them will influence our lives), the Earth, the Goddess
and the Great Black Madonna. You have an invitation to consciously step
out of one reality to embrace and proclaim a new one. What is your new dream? It will be
witnessed not only by your fellow pilgrims, but by the ancient rock people who are the
guardians and wisdom keepers of truth. What you proclaim will remain here with them, the
way others have done before us, as they are the record keepers and will always remember.
We return to our hotel for our celebratory Farewell Dinner. Overnight Montserrat.
Day 11. Thursday, September 30. Depart Barcelona (B)
After
an early breakfast, we check out of the hotel, and depart for the airport in Barcelona. Please book
your international return flight to depart after 11:00AM.
Note:
This itinerary is subject to change due to conditions beyond our control.
